Somatic Movement

Somatic Movement is Mind Body Movement. Awareness in the Body while moving is a moving meditation that allows the Body and the Mind to work as one and allow greater Awareness and a more natural Movement that facilitates better alignment and leads to less injuries. The Movement Structures we use are primarily based on Qigong and Internal Martial Arts Practices. These Frameworks have been honed over several hundred and in some cases several thousand years. They are proven methods and provide a Body Mind Spirit Coherency that is more efficient than most other forms of movement and Exercise. This work heals the Body Mind Spirit at Deep Levels and provides us with a longer, healthier lifespan. They are also a perfect Compliment to any other Movement or Exercise Regimen you are currently using with the added bonus of avoiding injury and teaching Movements that heal injured tissue.
